IO South buys used and surplus HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 servers, along with the DL380 Gen10 Plus and the 1U DL360 Gen10, from businesses across the United States and worldwide. The DL380 Gen10 is one of the most widely deployed 2U servers ever built, and demand for it on the secondary market stays steady. We provide a secure evaluation, fair-market pricing and hassle-free processing. Get a quote: 855-272-5044
The DL380 is where most lists start, and the rest of the HPE rack is welcome on the same list. IO South buys the full ProLiant family, rack and tower, Gen9 through Gen11, along with Apollo and Synergy compute, Aruba switches and access points, and HPE storage. One list, one offer, one pickup, and HPE can ship in the same lot as your Dell, Cisco and GPU equipment.
IO South is an established enterprise IT hardware company with offices in Marietta, Georgia and Cincinnati, Ohio. We buy and resell servers, networking equipment and data center GPUs every day, which lets us price ProLiant servers against real resale value and move quickly, from a single unit to a full decommission.

Every ProLiant generation sells. The question is only what drives the number. Gen11 servers, DL360, DL380, DL385 and the single-socket DL320, DL325 and DL345, carry the most value and are quoted fastest, with the processor model and memory count deciding most of the offer. Gen10 and Gen10 Plus remain in production at thousands of companies that need spares and expansions, so a working DL380 Gen10 or DL360 Gen10 with its processors and memory is still a strong line on a list. Gen9 servers are bought as complete units when the configuration warrants it, and as processors, memory, drives and power supplies when it does not. Send the generation, model, processor count and model, memory total, drive count and whether rails and bezels are included.
Tower servers belong on the list too. The ProLiant ML350, ML110 and ML30 towers from branch offices and small server rooms are bought alongside the rack equipment, and so is the ProLiant MicroServer.
HPE Apollo 2000 and 6500 chassis with their nodes, Synergy 480 and 660 compute modules with the frames, interconnects and composers that run them, and Cray XD and HPE GPU servers are all bought as whole systems. GPU systems are usually worth more intact than parted, and we say so before anything ships. If a Synergy frame is going and a few compute modules are staying, tell us; the frame is quoted on its own.
Aruba is one of the largest networking families IO South resells, so the whole stack is bought, not only the newest switches. Aruba 2930F and 2930M, 5400R zl2 chassis with their modules, 6200, 6300 and 6400 CX switches, 8320 and 8360 data center switches, and Aruba access points from the 300 series through the 600 series. Transceivers, power supplies and stacking modules add to the offer. Say what licensing or Aruba Central subscriptions are attached and we price accordingly; the hardware carries value either way. Looking for Aruba switches instead? See what is in stock.
Nimble, Primera, Alletra, MSA and StoreOnce arrays and shelves are bought populated or empty. If the drives have to stay with you for data policy reasons, say so with the list and we price the controllers and shelves without them. Controllers, cache modules and host adapters are valued as parts when the array is not worth moving whole.
IO South does not publish prices, because the secondary market moves weekly and the configuration decides most of the value. What we can tell you is how an offer is built for HPE. Generation first: a Gen11 DL380 with two current processors and a full memory bank is worth a multiple of a Gen9 chassis. Configuration second: processor model, memory total, drive count and type, and the controller and network cards installed. Completeness last: rails, bezels, both power supplies and the original drive carriers put a unit at the top of the range for its model. Every offer tells you which items drove the number and which were valued as parts, before anything ships.
Most decommissions are not one brand. Send the whole asset export as it is: ProLiant alongside Dell PowerEdge servers, Aruba alongside Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, and any NVIDIA GPUs and GPU servers in the same room. IO South resells all of it, so you get one evaluation for the lot, one pickup and one payment, instead of selling brand by brand. Companies that buy used HPE servers and nothing else leave the rest of the rack as your problem; we take the rack.

It depends on generation, configuration and completeness, and the secondary market moves weekly, so IO South does not publish prices. A Gen11 server with current processors and a full memory configuration is worth a multiple of a Gen9 chassis, and a complete unit with rails, bezels and both power supplies gets the top of the range for its model. Every offer shows which items drove the number before anything ships.
