We have a 7750 as our core router and remotes sites with either a 7750 or 7450 as their router. The configurations were set up by an outside vendor and they only answer about half my questions.The core 7750 has routes something like:ip route 10.10.0.0/16 ip_address_1ip route 10.20.0.0/16 ip_address_2ip route 10.30.0.0/16 ip_address_3ip route 10.40.0.0/16 ip_address_4ip route 10.41.0.0/16 ip_address_4Each site has a wired network (10.10, 10.20, etc) and a wireless network (10.11, 10.21, etc).My confusion comes from why some of the sites only have the wired route while others have both a wired route and a wireless route but everything works just fine.As I understood it, having 10.10.0.0/16 as an ip route means that any packet with a 10.10.x.x address gets routed to ip_address_1. So how do the 10.11.x.x addressed packets end up in the same place? If I set up a 10.12.0.0 vlan, would it need it’s own route?Any explanation/clarification would be appreciated.

What is the memory for the ICX 7750-48F ? On the brochure it shows that the switch has 8GB of memory but on the hardware it’s self it shows as 4Gb when running “show version” or “show memory” or during the switch bootup process.

Hello,i have Fortigate 100D with 4 forti AP that i think to upgrade to R510 unleashed.Today i have 2 SSID in seperate subnets that managed by Fortigate in gate mode and restrict with mac address.Is it posible make a design like this one that i have ?

Can the Ruckus Zoneflex 7962 AP operate in Standalone mode, or does it require a controller, like a WLC? I found a refurb at a great price, since I mainly wanted to just open it up to show my students how BeamFlex differs from Beam Forming (I’ve seen “parts-only models of the same AP go for 4x-5x the price)., If it’s capable of operating without a controller, I’ll definitely snap it up, since this would be the first Ruckus AP I’ve ever used, and I’m trying to introduce my students to as many different APs and other wireless devices as possible. The product PDF the seller linked to states this: “The ZoneFlex 7962 can bemanaged as a standalone
AP through a Web-based
GUI, using SNMP or through
the Ruckus FlexMaster Wi-Fi
remote management system. Local
management can also be performed
using the ZoneDirector Smart WLAN
controller.”(emphasis mine)If it really can be used standalone, I’ll happily snap it up tonight, even if I need to get just a power brick instead of a PoE injector, since it would stay indoors in the lab (although the PoE injector is preferable). Can anybody clear this up for me, before I pull the trigger on this? Thanks!

I have about 8 locations. All with Ruckus APs. We have a Blacklist and whitelist at our main location. We’d like that information along with password changes synced between all locations as our employees often work at different offices on different days of the week.
